Monday - Taste of Shu (25+)
If you’re in the mood to celebrate the start of a new week, Taste of Shu is the place to be.
The evening starts with a good conversation and a delicious cocktail, and before you know it you’re grooving to the sounds of that night’s selecta. It's a venue where you can experience upscale nightlife surrounded by a blend of the finest local and international guests.
Dress code
SHU's dress code is relaxed chic or glam. An elegant outfit is appreciated. The venue denies access if you’re wearing beachwear, shorts, caps, a shoulder bag, or sportswear. So start scheduling your appointments at your hairdressers and nailtechs. It’s time to groove.
Tuesday - Jamie xx (18+)
Jamie xx is one-third of the mysterious Indie pop band, The xx. He is a producer and DJ, and released a collaborative album with Gil Scott-Heron, We’re New Here in 2011, a remix album of Scott-Heron’s 2010 comeback album, I’m New Here.
Wednesday - BAYNK (18+)
New Zealand artist and producer BAYNK is known for his fresh approach to electronic music, often characterized by lively beats, dreamy melodies, and a combination of organic and electronic elements. He broke through with his 2015 single 'Sundae' and has since achieved international success, including a Grammy nomination in 2022 for his debut album 'ADOLESCENCE'.
This year he released the album 'SENESCENCE', a more personal and lyrically rich album that explores themes of love, loss, and growing up. His experience with hearing loss influences his live performances, where he uses visuals to enrich the experience for his audience.
Thursday - Video (18+)
Thursday, it’s almost weekend. Fuck it, a ginger shot will do it’s magic Friday morning. If you’re very keen on house music, Video in the Escape is the place to be. House, all night long! This Thursday you’ll be dancing to Amsterdam’s finest selecta’s.
Friday - The Gardens of Babylon - Butterflies in Babylone (18+)
Calling all Butterflies back to their gardens! the highly anticipated spring gathering is arriving early this year, and it’ll be a reunion under the golden skies of Amsterdam! With sunshine and good vibes on the horizon, Butterflies in Babylon is shaping up to be the ultimate festival experience. Expect euphoric music, vibrant energy, and unforgettable moments.
Saturday - THRWBCK (18+)
THRWBCK has positioned itself as the biggest weekly urban event The Netherlands has to offer. Every Saturday THRWBCK is home to celebrities, VIPs, and Amsterdam’s local party crowd. Enjoy top-notch entertainment combined with the best sets from internationally renowned DJs in club AIR Amsterdam.
Sunday - Ciranda Sundays x Doka Studio w/ Mendel | Hypoestes (18+)
Doka is the home base for immersive – sonic –experiences. The underground and intimate sound bar is the place where nightlife, music, and other forms of culture blend. At Ciranda we are trying to create an exciting yet comfortable space where everyone can feel free and let loose. Where we can meet and dance together, away from the conventions of daily life. Love is the message!
