XAVEWORLD INVITES AK SOUNDSYSTEM AND FRIENDS
For quite some time we’ve been moving around in the events scene and quite recently started our own events. “XAVEWORLD invites” is an initiative allowing creatives in different disciplines to showcase their craft to the public while enjoying good meals made by your local food preppers. This time around we invite AK Soundsystem and friends.
AK Soundsystem is a manifestation of two best friends who grew up on the Caribbean island of Curaçao with a love for music, celebration, and togetherness. United by their vibrant personalities, Caribbean roots, and a strong desire to amplify the presence of female DJs in the music industry they created AK Soundsystem.

They embody female empowerment and the freedom to be your true authentic self. The Sounds of AK Soundsystem travels through various genres, including Bubbling, Dancehall, Hip-Hop, Baile Funk, Reggeaton, Dembow, Afro beats, and Trap Music. Drawing inspiration from their Caribbean heritage, they bring an energy that heats up any dancefloor.
So we got you on music, but there’s more from the lovely Caribbean island! The most beautiful part is how this all comes together. Friend of a friend and friend of AK/SS, we’re happy to host the Koko Family during this event.
Kokolishi was created on a small island called Curacao located in the Dutch Caribbean. Kokolishi means shell in Curacao's native language Papiamentu. Process and connection during creation are everything, which represents the Kokolishi for us. Our emblem is inspired by the Golden ratio aka Divine proportion. Starting Small & spiraling upwards in its perfect timing, proportion & right connections with unique pureness is key.
All Kokolishi products are illustrated and designed by hand and inspired by their love for the island and its people. They truly believe every one of us is worthy in such a unique way. Connecting people through their products, building a community where you represent unity but also hopi love, connection, strength & YOU.

Meeting each other for the first time but already know we belong. The Hopi Love Club is a special creative community that originated in Curaçao. Where togetherness is everything, especially from the islands, we call it the Koko Family aka Hopi Love Club. Founded in Curaçao for creative thinkers around the world.
But you know, there’s no party without drinks and good food. So for this edition, we’ll be serving that good Surinamese BBQ chicken from the uncs of Lievo’s Kitchen. The plates will be plating for sure! Think BBQ chicken, coleslaw, or plantain, and then flush it away with Aunt Jenny’s Surinamese Gingerbeer.
